Captain Gips is a left-winged hip hop artist from Hamburg, Germany and part of the hip hop combo Neonschwarz. His lyrics often imply funny and political statements.
For his release “20.000 Meilen unter dem Yeah”, which is a variation of Jules Verne’s classic science fiction novel “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea”, we created a visual cosmos that reflects Captain Gips’ special sense of humour.
We also developed a visual identity including a signet, logotype, the packaging design for his release and the respective merchandising products.
